Production & Installation Labourer (Workshop + Field Work)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production & Installation Labourer to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing and installation environment . This position involves assisting with workshop production, warehouse operations, machine use, and on-site installation of custom window covering products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and is eager to grow within a skilled trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the manufacturing and assembly of custom window covering products in our workshop
• Operate shop equipment and tools, including saws and cutting machines (training provided)
• Safely use hand tools and power tools for fabrication and installation
• Support warehouse duties such as material preparation, organization, and inventory handling
• Load and unload materials, tools, and finished products
• Drive company vehicles to deliver products and assist installation teams on-site
• Perform residential and commercial installations, including working on ladders and at various heights
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in both the workshop and job sites
• Follow all company safety policies, especially regarding machinery and job-site procedures
• Provide general support to production and installation teams as needed

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a warehouse/workshop environment and on active job sites
• Ability to safely use ladders and work at heights when required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes
• Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or installation work
• Experience with window coverings, blinds, shades, or similar trades is a plus
• Forklift certification is a bonus (not required)
• Experience working with shop machinery such as miter saws, table saws, or cutting tools is an asset

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required)
• Location: Carrollton, TX 75006 (In person)
