KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice. Responsibilities: Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, REITs, and corporations for clients in the Asset Management industry, with a focus on credit/debt funds and mortgage REITs. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide knowledge and experience; manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects. Oversee a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients; build and manage client relationships. Be accountable for delivering high quality tax compliance deliverables and tax advice. Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets. Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm. Qualifications: Minimum five years of partnership and REIT tax experience in an accounting firm, investment management firm, law firm, and/or family office. Meaningful exposure to credit/debt-related work. Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams. Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials.
