Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

• Provide high-quality care for patients with various conditions including chest pain, respiratory distress/failure, and strokes
• Operate and manage ventilators, and perform IV skills and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Participate in the treatment of STEMI, CVA, and sepsis patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a demanding ED environment

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

• BLS, NIH, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred
