High School Instructional Aide Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Position Requirements High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Para Professional Certification or Associate's degree with two years of study at an institution of higher learning. Valid Texas education aide certificate. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Experience working with children. Special Knowledge / Skills Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics. Ability to work well with children. Ability to communicate effectively. Benefits District pays $400 towards TRS ActiveCare health insurance. District pays $20,000 life insurance.
