Position Summary:

Nevada Dental Benefits Ltd., is seeking a full time Treatment Coordinator to support the delivery of patient centered care in a new, state of the art, integrated medical facility located in Las Vegas, NV. The new, innovative center provides coordinated medical, dental and vision primary care to a diverse patient population. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator that has a desire to motivate patients and encourage excellent oral health as an important part of overall health and wellbeing. We are a team of health professionals motivated by providing excellent care and customer service.

The Center:

Located in the city of Las Vegas, NV, this new, innovative Center provides coordinated medical, dental and vision primary care to a diverse patient population working in the service industries in Las Vegas. The dental facility contains 15 state-of-the-art operatories, supported by a sophisticated Electronic Health Record/Practice Management Solution, digital radiography, digital imaging, and associated technologies.

Essential Treatment Coordinator Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Organize referrals to other medical specialists;
2. Provide and explain treatment plans to patients;
3. Entering information into the practice management system;
4. Collect and post payments from patients at time of treatment;
5. Assist in the creation and production of invoices;
6. Assist in the production of materials to be distributed to patients and prospective patients;
7. Greet patients and reflect the philosophy of care espoused by the practice;
8. Other duties as assigned by the office manager or his/her delegate.

Education and Experience

• knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, diagnosis and codes
• Knowledge of insurance benefits and coordination
• knowledge of computer and familiarity with dental practice management software
• knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Treatment Coordinator

Compensation:

Salary compensation will be based on experience and skills. The Treatment Coordinator will be a full time employee of the company and as such will be eligible for benefits provided for employees at similar employment levels.
