Job Summary
MRI Technologist MRI Reno, NV
This position involves producing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to assist radiologists and referring physicians. The role requires strong experience with Philips MRI scanners and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Level II trauma hospital environment serving a large geographic area.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT certification in MRI required
• Education: Relevant certification or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the designated location
• Years of Experience: 2 years of MRI experience required, including experience with GE or Philips scanners; prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3x12-hour shifts, weekly guaranteed hours of 36, including weekends, holidays, and call shifts. Schedule varies based on department needs.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule periods. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality MRI image production, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to departmental standards.
