Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job in Lodi, CA, where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you will obtain medication histories, assist with medication reconciliation during hospitalization and at discharge, and identify and communicate medication discrepancies to prescribers. Minimum Requirements: Active California Pharmacy Technician state license required. (State license required for CA and OR.) Prior pharmacy technician experience, including medication history taking and medication reconciliation experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Associate or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred. Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification and PTCB preferred. Ability to work variable shifts with earliest shift start as early as 06:00 and latest shift end as late as 23:30. Preferred Qualifications: Medication reconciliation experience in a hospital setting preferred. Experience with structured clinical workflows and communicating medication discrepancies to prescribers preferred. Assignment Details Shift type: Flex shifts. Weekly hours: 40.
