Entry-Level Help Desk Technician

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Entry-Level Help Desk Technician for an onsite contract role in Honolulu, HI.

This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career IT professional with less than one year of experience who is looking to build hands-on help desk experience. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, proactive, and comfortable being mentored by more senior IT staff.

Responsibilities

Provide basic Tier 1 support for end users
Help triage technical issues, gather information, and open support tickets
Assist with password resets, basic error messages, and general user questions
Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate support tier
Image laptops and desktops using Microsoft MECM
Provision iPhones and iPads through the company's mobile device management system
Archive, wipe, and repurpose returned IT equipment
Support IT inventory cleanup and organization
Assist onsite IT lead with hands-on support tasks as needed
Provide meeting room support and guest Wi-Fi assistance

Qualifications

Recent college graduate or entry-level IT candidate with less than one year of experience
Strong interest in building a career in help desk or IT support
Basic understanding of computers, mobile devices, and end-user support
Ability to follow instructions, document issues clearly, and ask good questions
Professional, reliable, and willing to take on a variety of support tasks
Go-getter attitude with a strong desire to learn and be mentored
Comfortable working onsite in Honolulu, HI
