These positions are on a weekly rotating schedule, but will train on 1st shift for 6-9 months. Pay is $36.21/hr plus $1/hr differential for off shifts. 6 Month Contract to Hire. Once full time, you will be eligible for monthly production bonuses and raises. Please apply for immediate consideration.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery. You will work with a variety of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical machines, melting/holding furnaces, casting lines, hot/cold rolling mills, annealing furnaces, and slitters. The environment is non-temp controlled, with mills and furnaces creating higher temperatures; be prepared to handle heat, noise, and high‐speed equipment. The plant is spread out with separated buildings, and some areas may have metal shavings due to slitter machines. Summer temperatures can reach the low 100s, while winter is cooler, averaging in the 60s. Hydration is encouraged during summer, and large fans help with air flow. Note that water bottles, cans, butane lighters, and E-Cigs or Vaping Canisters are not allowed on-site due to business nature and process risks.
