As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Identity Validation in Fernandina Beach, FL , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
