Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a Forklift Operator to work in a paper and cardboard recycling facility. This is a non-climate-controlled warehouse, so it can get hot, cold, dusty, and dirty. You’ll spend most of your day operating a sit-down or clamp forklift and helping with general cleanup and labor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down and/or clamp forklift to move, load, and unload paper bales.
• Help keep the work area clean by sweeping and picking up paper.
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work some Saturdays when required.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Clamp forklift experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a dusty, non-climate-controlled recycling facility.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-minded.

Work Environment

This is a paper and cardboard recycling center. The facility is not climate controlled and can be dusty, dirty, hot, or cold depending on the weather. You’ll work around forklifts, heavy equipment, and recycled materials in a fast-paced warehouse.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, MS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
