RN - Emergency Room

Location: Pasco, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 1 PM - 1:30 AM

Job Description: The Emergency Room RN plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position involves assessing and managing patients with various medical conditions, performing emergency interventions as needed, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and triage patients effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status closely.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Participate in the training and mentoring of new nursing staff and students.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
