Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room to provide high-quality emergency patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise, quick decision-making, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' clinical conditions rapidly, recognizing serious situations and prioritizing care needs.
• Initiate emergency measures in critical situations when physicians are unavailable.
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters.
• Administer prescribed therapeutic interventions, including medications, IV therapy, respiratory support, and mechanical ventilation.
• Document patient observations, interventions, and therapeutic measures accurately and comprehensively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement tailored care plans and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and safety standards within the unit to promote a secure environment.
• Prepare for potential float assignments to Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Proven ventilator management skills and emergency response experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and potentially float to other units.
