Wire Transfer Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Wire Transfer Analyst for an on-site position located in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.


Pay range: Up to $32.84 per hour

Summary:
This position provides operational support within the Wire Transfer Department of a Major Financial Institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, validating, and processing domestic and international wire transfer instructions using core banking and SWIFT systems. The role involves direct interaction with customer requests and ensuring the accuracy and security of all transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform operational support duties for the Wire Transfer Department under general supervision
• Receive wire requests from customers and validate their authenticity by verifying signatures and confirming details
• Log wire requests delivered from customers, branches, and other departments
• Process wire transfer instructions through the Wire Transfer and SWIFT systems
• Process and repair online customer-initiated wires and FX wires
• Analyze wire information to accurately execute payments to correspondent banks
• Analyze online information and resolve customer issues
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and departmental policy changes
• Provide support to the Department Manager on departmental projects and recommend procedural changes

Requirements:

• Experience with operational support duties in a wire transfer environment
• Ability to analyze wire information to accurately execute payments
• Experience processing instructions through Wire Transfer and SWIFT systems
• Familiarity with processing and repairing online customer-initiated and FX wires
• Proven ability to resolve customer issues effectively
