Associate Human Resources Business PartnerStarkey is hiring for an Associate Human Resources Business Partner to be the face of Human Resources at Starkey's Global Distribution Center (GDC) in Plainfield, Indiana. The Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible to assist in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful Associate HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent in support of key business strategies. Our hearing aids now incorporate Artificial Intelligence, embedded activity sensors, language translation and transcription services, as well as an always-on personal voice assistant.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTSAssist in employee relations issues and questionsAssist in rollout and maintenance of HR programs and practicesEvaluate, progress and guide adjustments during organizational changeLearn and follow organizational pay philosophy and supporting processesDiagnose and help managers diagnose performance problemsEnsure clear performance expectations throughout the department(s) supportedIntroduce performance management processes, practices, tools and metricsHelp identify "high priority" retention needsFollow best practices and policies to retain talentIdentify individual, and departmental training and learning needsResponsible for the execution of internal HR processes with assigned client groupsConduct exit interviews of all voluntary terminationsConduct employee relation investigationsParticipate in any involuntary terminationFacilitate trainings, presentations and meetings when necessaryPartner with other areas of HR (total rewards, recruiting, Training & Development, etc.) to streamline processes and encourage collaboration.Partner with HRBP on:Help ensure alignment of structure, governance, and policies with organizational strategyHelp develop change and communication plans for assigned managersHelp leaders/managers determine if/how to introduce changePartner with business to map work-flow and processesSupport leaders and teams tasked with re-designSupport the development of "balanced scorecards" and other metrics for teams and business unitsOther key initiatives directed by managerJOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum Education, Certification and Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related fieldCertification by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) preferredExperience2-5 years of related experienceBilingual in Spanish and English preferred.Experience in all areas of HR is preferredExperience working at all levels of the company; executive to associate levelKnowledge / Technical Requirements• Strong understanding of employment law and compliance; knowledge of OFCCP, AA, Wage and Hour, FLSA, Non-Compete/Non-Solicit, NDA's and other relevant topics related to Human ResourcesCompetencies, Skills & Abilities• Strength with Organizational Design, and Employee Relations• Must be able to manage and prioritize competing demands; accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being adaptable and flexible• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, interpersonal, and writtenConfidential Information: o This position has access to personnel files, performance management information, salary information and termination informationRequired Communication: o External: Communicates with outside agencies, vendors, and government agencies o Internal: Communicates regularly with managers and employees at all levels of the companySalary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $64,680 - $82,950 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results.
