Information Security Engineering Analyst

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Information Security Analyst.
 
Position type: Contract (19 months)
Location: Chandler, AZ
Hybrid: (3 days onsite/ 2 day remote)
 
As an Information Security Analyst, what you’ll Do :

• Analyze and resolve low-to-moderately complex security incidents and assessments
• Perform remediation activities based on security findings
• Support information security risk analysis and reporting
• Conduct security control testing and validation

• Aggregate and analyze security data for risk exposure insights
• Work with SIEM / SOAR tools to monitor and respond to threats
• Assist with incident response and threat investigation
• Perform log analysis for threat detection and hunting

• Provide security consultation to improve compliance with enterprise policies
• Review security standards and controls for business impact
• Recommend enhancements to security frameworks and processes
• Support information security awareness and training programs

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and security teams
• Help guide junior team members and share best practices
• Contribute to a 24/7 SOC environment mindset

Required Skills & Qualifications.

• Information Security Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in Incident Response protocols & tools
• Experience working with SIEM / SOAR platforms
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Office 365, or cloud technologies
• Experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solutions

• Knowledge of security analytics, digital forensics, and threat hunting
• Understanding of:
  • Firewalls, IDS/IPS, malware protection
  • Encryption & data security controls
  • Log management tools
• Familiarity with identity & access management (IAM)
• Experience in SOC environments (24x7 operations)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $35 - $41 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
