Job Description:
Mission Control ensures each trip requested by a rider is successful. This team functions like air traffic control for an autonomous vehicle fleet, working behind the scenes to maintain smooth and safe operations. Mission Controllers monitor service operations both holistically and at the individual vehicle level to maximize safety and efficiency. They also manage temporary restrictions for specific areas (e.g., civic events, sigalerts, emergencies). This role offers a front-row seat to the operational complexities of autonomous mobility and an opportunity to contribute to the future of transportation.

Responsibilities:

Support commercial service operations from the service operations command center
Complete pre-mission startup checklists to ensure operational readiness
Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain smooth market operations
Serve as first point of contact for basic vehicle troubleshooting
Create and escalate service disruption events via internal ticketing system
Dispatch Fleet Response crews for vehicle recovery and coordinate updates with cross-functional teams
Manage market configurations, including restricted areas and hours of operation
Assist with documentation and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
Proficiency in computer literacy
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy

BENEFITS SUMMARY: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated. In addition to base compensation, full-time roles are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Commuter and 401K benefits with company matching.
