Land Development Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Land Development Project Manager to lead the planning, design and delivery of land development projects from initial feasibility through to completion. The role will involve coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. You will manage project scope, programme, costs, risks and quality while maintaining clear communication throughout each stage of the development lifecycle.


Key responsibilities will include assessing development opportunities, reviewing planning and technical documentation, appointing and managing consultants, coordinating surveys and investigations, and overseeing the preparation of infrastructure, civil engineering and development plans. You will monitor approvals, permits, construction progress, budgets and contractual obligations, identifying issues early and implementing effective solutions. The role will also involve preparing project reports, financial updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders, as well as supporting procurement, tender evaluations, construction monitoring and project close-out activities.


The successful candidate will have proven experience managing land development or major infrastructure projects, ideally within residential, commercial or mixed-use environments. A relevant qualification in project management, civil engineering, construction, property development or a related discipline is desirable. You will have a strong understanding of planning processes, development approvals, civil works, consultant management, contracts and financial controls. Excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience using project management, scheduling and cost-control systems would be advantageous. A proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach is expected, along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental responsibility and professional standards.
