Make a meaningful impact in behavioral healthcare with a 13-week Travel Psychiatric RN assignment in Ithaca, New York . This role is ideal for an experienced Psych RN who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting.

Position Details:

• Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Specialty: Psychiatric / Behavioral Health

• Location: Ithaca, NY

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  

Minimum Requirements

• Active NY RN License

• Previous Psychiatric / Behavioral Health nursing experience – Required

• Strong inpatient psychiatric nursing experience preferred

• Experience caring for adult and/or adolescent psychiatric patients preferred

• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and crisis-management skills

• Excellent communication and therapeutic relationship-building abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
