Foreman – Site Development

Location: Wasatch County, Utah
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Construction Foreman to oversee day-to-day field operations for mass grading, road prep, and underground utility installation. The Foreman is directly responsible for supervising crews, maintaining safety, and ensuring work is performed efficiently and to quality standards. This role supports the Superintendent in keeping the project on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who leads by example, communicates clearly, and can motivate crews to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct field crews in daily tasks

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with project requirements

• Communicate with the Superintendent regarding progress, needs, and challenges

• Maintain productivity and workflow on site through effective crew management

• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to plans and specifications

• Help coordinate labor, equipment, and material deliveries

• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe

• Support training and mentoring of crew members

• Assist with punch list completion and problem-solving in the field

What You Need

• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or lead in civil/site development

• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and construction methods

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Hands-on work ethic with the ability to lead by example
