Here's a summary of responsibilities: The Manager, Internally Managed Sports (IMS) will oversee the day-to-day operations for select sports being internally managed by the USOPC. The Manager will collaborate closely with staff and stakeholders to implement departmental strategies and advance the goals of IMS. Here’s how you’ll have an impact:

1. Ensure timely and transparent communication of performance plans, selection procedures, event information, and similar documents with teams, athletes, coaches, and external partners.
2. Collaborate with USOPC sport performance staff, IMS sport athletes and coaches and others as needed to finalize high performance plans and submit yearly funding requests.
3. Lead internal sport processes for drafting, editing, and publishing athlete and staff selection procedures in compliance with USOPC requirements and deadlines.
4. Manage team administration processes and track athlete data for the following: direct athlete support, EAHI, Games long lists, Team USA Athlete and 10-year athlete lists, athlete safety requirements, and personal performance plan results.
5. Serve as the lead on anti-doping initiatives, coordinating with USADA to manage the Registered Testing Pool (RTP), Clean Athlete Program (CAP), and required annual education.
6. Support with tracking and staying up to date with IMS compliance requirements. Coordinate with legal and compliance team on updating documents yearly and communicate to athletes, contracted staff and other staff as necessary.
7. Identify and coordinate the contract negotiations for new and existing contract staff to ensure projects are staffed based on sport priorities and available resources.
8. Coordinate and book air travel, lodging arrangements, and ground transportation for IMS and delegation events. Organize and plan logistics for events and competitions, as applicable.
9. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others in and outside of the sport community as advantageous to the program.
10. Manage onboarding and engagement efforts for new athletes, coaches, and families.
11. Partner with the communications team to ensure the website is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly, with regularly refreshed resources for athletes, coaches, and the community.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Olympic or Paralympic sport programs including event operations, logistics, or team management
• Experience working with athletes, coaches, or sport organizations is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across departments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
• Customer service mindset with a solution-oriented approach
• Familiarity with the mission of the USOPC preferred

Here's where you'll work: Colorado Springs Downtown Headquarters / Hybrid Remote work options may be available Here's some more information you need to know:

• Hiring pay range $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
• This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
• Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
