Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of Emergency experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required NIH Stroke Scale certification required (can be obtained during onboarding) TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Competency certificate required Must-Have: Drip/Titrate experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin required Telemetric measure/read experience required EPIC EMR experience highly preferred Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline of Emergency Room Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The position requires an active Iowa or compact license. Candidates must have 24 months of current Emergency Department experience. This role also requires certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Experience in drip/titration of cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin is necessary. Telemetric reading skills are required. Candidates with EPIC EMR experience are highly preferred. All applicants must meet the skills checklist specific to the Emergency Room discipline. This is a night shift role with a requirement to work every third weekend. Holidays may also be included per departmental needs.
