In this role, you will p erform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems. You will work closely with the production/plant team and play an important role in Operational Impact. How You Will Make an Impact Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems Work on motors, and conveyors, AC/DC, etc Will work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Complete Timely and accurate paperwork What You Need to Succeed Separate true minimum requirements from preferred qualifications. For example: Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred Strong Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills Electrical and PLC knowledge (trouble shooting) preferred Corrugated background is a plus, but not required The starting rate is $32 - $35 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location.
