Assistant Athletic Trainer

Position Details

Provides athletic training services to student-athletes including evaluation treatment rehabilitation and documentation of athletic injuries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate treat and provide rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

• Review and document injuries.

• Provide referrals for appropriate medical care.

• Provide athletic training services on the field or court at practices and events.

• Manage insurance and other documentation necessary for proper medical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred.
• One year of NATABOC certified experience required.
• Experience supervising and teaching student athletic trainers preferred.
• Florida licensed or eligible.
• Ability to travel and work evenings weekends and some holidays. --Ability to forge a working relationship with college level athletics and coaches.
