About the Position

The Echo Tech – Cardiology Clinic will perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular sonography procedures and assist cardiologists in diagnostic evaluation of adult patients (ages 18+). The technologist will:

• Conduct pre- and post-test imaging for stress echocardiograms
• Independently set up and perform treadmill stress tests
• Document findings accurately and maintain reports in EPIC
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper imaging quality during exams
• Follow established cardiology protocols and clinic procedures

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years as an Echo Tech
• Specialties: Cardiac and Vascular Sonography (required)
• Certifications (preferred or required):
  
  1. RDMS
  2. RDCS
  3. RCS
• Technology: EPIC EMR experience required
• Other Skills:
  
  1. Proficient with GE-Vivid 9 equipment
  2. Ability to administer and capture stress test images within 90 seconds post-test
  3. Must independently perform Definity Contrast Echo, TTEs, and Doppler studies
  4. Able to perform manual blood pressure capture
  5. IV start experience preferred (not mandatory)
