About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As a member of HUNT's Structural Engineering team, you will:
- Design structural systems for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood buildings.
- Lead structural analysis and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of building projects.
- Perform structural assessments and evaluations of existing facilities.
- Apply industry standards and design codes, including the International Building Code, New York State Building Code, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
- Utilize structural analysis and design software including RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, Enercalc, and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, surveyors, and other technical professionals to deliver coordinated project solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise throughout project development.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Five or more years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
- Experience designing structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Strong understanding of applicable building codes and structural design standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RAM, STAAD, RISA, or similar structural analysis software.
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience managing projects or mentoring junior staff.
