Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN performs specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes. This role requires a strong background in cath lab procedures, clinical skills, and adherence to industry standards for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and education to ensure comfort and understanding.
  
  
• 
  Assist cardiologists during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs, arrhythmias, and hemodynamic stability throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient care activities, procedural details, and clinical observations accurately.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all certification, licensure, and facility protocols, including call coverage requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid CA RN license with uploaded Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS and ACLS certifications with current expiration dates.
  
  
• 
  At least 2 years of recent cath lab experience, including working with cardiac patients.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to perform patient assessments and support complex cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all travel and local credentialing requirements, including work history verification and compliance deadlines.
