Custodial Services Worker - Coppell ISD Custodial

Job DescriptionJoin Aramark at Coppell ISD as a Custodial Services Worker and help create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for students, teachers, staff, and visitors.In this role, you will help keep classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and other school areas ready for the day. You may help with cleaning, taking out trash, restocking supplies, wiping down high-touch areas, setting up or cleaning up after school events, and making sure spaces look their best. If you are dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work as part of a team, this can be a great first job or a great way to gain experience while making a real impact in your school community.No two shifts are exactly the same, and campus needs can change based on school schedules, activities, and events. What stays the same is the importance of the work: helping every school day start and end in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.Shift options may include 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Job ResponsibilitiesAdheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulationsMaintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of othersAccurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipmentCleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirementsFollows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areasReports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnelSecures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as requiredEnsures security of company assetsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsPrevious custodial experience preferred.Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicalsMaintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workersAdaptable to guests’ needsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
