Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Lead with Keys for UGG, you lead the shift- you set the tone, model the standard, and bring the team together to deliver consistent consumer experiences. Through clear direction, real‐time coaching, and strong execution, you help the store run smoothly and prepare others to grow.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

35 % of time

Lead Daily Sales Floor Execution

· Set clear priorities and direction for the sales floor during assigned shifts to ensure timely, accurate execution.

· Lead the flow of work by adjusting pace, reallocating resources, and making real‐time decisions as conditions change.

· Own sales floor standards related to service, selling behaviors, and floor standards while ensuring daily operational tasks are completed to standard without requiring constant oversight or escalation.

25 % of time

Team & Shift Leadership

· Lead with visible presence, maintaining a calm, confident approach during peak volume, complexity, or disruption.

· Reinforce accountability and teamwork through actions, setting the tone for pace, service, and team engagement.

· Model expectations that create a disciplined, solutions‐oriented environment while addressing behaviors and performance gaps in real time.

20 % of time

Coaching, Feedback and Talent Development

· Coach team members in the moment while working alongside them on the sales floor.

· Provide timely, specific feedback to build confidence, improve execution, and reinforce service and selling behaviors.

· Identify development opportunities and take ownership for strengthening team capability during shifts, including onboarding and ongoing training support.

Operational Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

· Identify root causes of service, flow, or execution challenges during the shift.

· Make real‐time adjustments to priorities, processes, or resources to improve flow and reduce disruptions.

· Apply sound judgment to maintain operational efficiency while protecting service and brand standards.

Brand, Market and Store Readiness Ownership

· Monitor floor conditions, traffic patterns, and product flow to maintain store readiness.

· Ensure team behaviors and execution align with brand expectations and current store priorities.

· Reinforce accountability and pride in execution, ensuring a consistent, customer‐ready environment throughout the shift.

Key Qualifications and Physical Demands outline the essential skills, attributes, and minimum requirements a candidate must possess, alongside the environmental and bodily effort necessary to perform daily job duties.

· Work Environment- Work is performed in a retail store environment with moderate to high customer interaction. The setting may involve fluctuating noise levels, extended hours of operation, and exposure to busy sales floors, stockrooms, and seasonal merchandising changes. Employees may work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Physical Demands- The role requires frequent standing and walking throughout scheduled shifts. Physical activities may include bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and repetitive movements. Employees may be required to lift and carry merchandise or supplies, generally up to 25–40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Additional Considerations- The ability to engage positively with customers and remain active on the sales floor for extended periods is essential to the role.

Additional Requirements

· 2+ years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a premium or high‐volume environment

· Previous experience in a keyholder, lead, or informal leadership role preferred

· Ability to open and close the store, including responsibility for store security and cash handling procedures

· Demonstrated ability to lead a shift, set priorities, and support team execution in real time

· Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and in-the-moment coaching

· Ability to make decisions under pressure while maintaining a calm and solutions‐oriented approach

· 18 years old
