This role operates under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, focusing on prescription filling and IV preparation. Key Responsibilities of the Compounding Technician

• Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data for prescription filling and reimbursement
• Assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing as per standards and regulations
• Support the Pharmacist in the final checking of filled prescriptions
• Coordinate the accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Maintain inventory practices including receiving, rotating, and posting lot numbers
• Ensure the workplace is clean and equipment is properly calibrated

Requirements of the Compounding Technician

• Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Familiarity with prepackaging medication and dispensing regulations
• Experience in pharmacy billing and inventory management
