We're seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (AI) who is passionate about leveraging AI to accelerate software delivery, modernize enterprise technology platforms, and create innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide architecture strategy while designing AI-powered delivery pipelines, cloud solutions, and automation frameworks that enable teams to move faster and deliver greater value.What You'll DoAs a Senior Solutions Architect (AI), you will serve as a technology leader and trusted advisor, partnering with business and technology teams to architect scalable, secure, and AI-enabled solutions.Design AI-Powered SolutionsTranslate complex business requirements into scalable technology architectures.Design AI-driven software delivery pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud-native solutions.Create architecture standards, reusable patterns, and AI-enabled tooling that accelerate development velocity.Develop and implement automated architecture validation, governance, and compliance capabilities using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, GitHub CLI, and similar AI technologies.Design modern infrastructure platforms utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud technologies.Drive Technology LeadershipLead technical design efforts from concept through implementation.Champion AI adoption across architecture and engineering teams.Guide teams in applying architecture standards, automation practices, and cloud best practices.Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving throughout the SDLC.Collaborate with vendors, product teams, developers, and enterprise architects to ensure successful solution delivery.Shape the Future of Enterprise ArchitectureResearch emerging AI, cloud, and automation technologies.Develop proof-of-concepts and evaluate new tools and platforms.Influence enterprise architecture strategy and long-term technology direction.Create best practices, reference architectures, and reusable AI-driven delivery frameworks.Mentor and Enable TeamsCoach architects and engineering teams on AI technologies and modern architecture practices.Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance.Promote innovation through knowledge sharing and continuous learning.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of experience across multiple technology disciplines such as cloud computing, application development, databases, middleware, networking, security, and enterprise platforms.3+ years of experience designing and implementing automated software solutions utilizing cloud or hybrid cloud technologies.2+ years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.2+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD and DevOps automation pipelines.Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and application architectures.Willingness to travel up to 25%.Preferred QualificationsWe're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:AI architecture, automation, and intelligent software delivery solutions.Cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.Modern DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchains.Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.Azure Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems.Security, authentication, authorization, and governance frameworks.AI implementation considerations including:Model selection and optimizationToken managementAgent-based architecturesMCP frameworksAI governance and securityAgile product delivery methodologies.Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.Enterprise integration and distributed systems design.Success in This RoleYou are:An innovative thinker who embraces AI-first problem solving.A strategic architect who balances speed, cost, scalability, and business value.A collaborative leader who influences without authority.Passionate about automation and continuous improvement.Comfortable navigating both technical and business discussions.Excited to help shape the next generation of AI-driven software delivery.Why Assurant?At Assurant, you'll work alongside talented professionals who are redefining how technology supports business growth.
