Managers will receive an exclusive dining card to dine each quarter.Employee Recognition - Employee of the month program and tenured employee recognition and gifts.Direct Deposit - Payroll is paid by direct deposit and stubs will be emailed to the employee's email.Giving Back – Monthly Round Up for Charity program at all Talk of the Town Restaurants to support local charities in our community.Family Culture Environment - A family owned and operated company since 1974, it is our goal at Talk of the Town Restaurants to make each employee feel like family!Essential FunctionsSet up station according to restaurant guidelines.Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.Cleans and maintains stations in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef or Kitchen Manager at any time.Skills and QualificationsPassion for cooking and hospitalityUnderstanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.2+ years' prep or line cook experience.Ability to take direction.Ability to work well in a team environment, calmly and effectively under pressure.Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.Prolonged periods standing and preparing and cooking food.Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
