Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in driving product strategy, shaping future platform capabilities, and bringing high-impact healthcare solutions from concept through commercialization.

This individual will operate at the intersection of the procedure room and the engineering lab — partnering closely with clinicians, customers, engineering, and commercial teams to identify unmet needs, translate insights into product requirements, and help define the future product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, customer interviews, clinical observations, stakeholder discussions, and user testing to identify unmet needs and product opportunities

• Develop deep expertise in clinical environments, procedures, workflows, and customer challenges to inform product strategy

• Serve as a product expert and contribute to roadmap development, including needs identification, value proposition development, and feature prioritization

• Partner closely with engineering and commercial teams to translate customer and business requirements into technical specifications

• Evaluate product trade-offs throughout development while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives

• Establish and track success metrics throughout the product development lifecycle

• Support the development of scalable processes and frameworks as the organization grows

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–5+ years of Product Management experience or related experience, ideally within medical technology, healthcare technology, or complex technical environments

• Experience with AI, robotics, medical imaging, advanced software, digital health, or hardware-enabled technology strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineers and customers to translate strategic objectives into executable product requirements

• Experience engaging healthcare providers and understanding clinical workflows preferred

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market insights, customer feedback, and business opportunities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences

• High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

• Ability to succeed in a startup environment requiring flexibility, ownership, and a willingness to wear multiple hats

Additional Details

• Hybrid position requiring regular on-site collaboration in San Mateo, CA due to the hands-on nature of robotics, hardware, and product development

• Travel required for customer engagement, clinical observation, product testing, and real-world validation
