Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time, W2. Two openings available.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $40.00–$50.00, based on ERJ-145 experience and avionics skills

• Schedule: 4x10 night shift, 4 nights on with 3 consecutive days off (e.g., Wed–Sat or Sun–Wed)

Job Summary

This role is open to two A&P mechanics specializing in Embraer ERJ-145 line maintenance to join a night shift crew supporting fast-turn cargo operations at MIA. The ideal candidate is a regional jet mechanic who's comfortable troubleshooting under time pressure and wants a long-term home with a strong pay and benefits package. The position also supports occasional line maintenance travel to Caribbean outstations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid-turn line maintenance, overnight servicing, daily and weekly inspections, A-checks, and MEL troubleshooting on ERJ-145 regional jets and Saab 340 turboprops

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, powerplant (Rolls-Royce AE 3007), electrical, and avionics systems per FAA regulations and OEM manuals

• Complete all logbooks, work orders, and return-to-service documentation in compliance with 14 CFR Part 43 and Part 135 repair station procedures

• Supply personal basic hand tools and use company-provided specialty tooling, diagnostic equipment, and ground support gear

• Stay available for occasional short-duration travel to support line maintenance at Caribbean outstations as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate in good standing, meeting 14 CFR 65.83 recent experience requirements

• At least 2 years of recent, post-certification hands-on maintenance experience on Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft

• Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks required for MIA SIDA badging and CBP clearance

• Standard A&P hand tool set (full master tool list provided upon hire)

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work outdoors in tarmac conditions

Ideal Qualifications

• Avionics troubleshooting experience (e.g., Honeywell Primus 1000) or active FCC license

• Hands-on experience with Saab 340 turboprop aircraft

• Valid U.S. Passport for outstation travel support
