Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Athens, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical unit. Candidates are required to bring their RN license and Certifications (including BLS) on the first day. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Athens, Tennessee
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Nights shift, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, RN License in Tennessee, Certifications/licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee, 1+ years of experience, and ability to obtain TN license
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical care thinking skills
• Unit Information:
  • Department: Medical/Surgical
  • Number of Beds: Currently up to 18, with plans to increase to 24
  • Patient Population: Adults and Geriatric, no pediatrics
  • Equipment: Bladder scanner, glucometers, etc.
  • EMR: Medhost
• Additional Information:
  • All clinical staff in Tennessee must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start date.
  • All travelers must have required certifications prior to start.
  • No float rotation required.
