This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), General Law and Operations Department (GLOD), General Litigation and Employment Law Division (GLELD), at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level in labor law, litigation, equal opportunity law and/or personnel law and must have (a) demonstrated the ability to work independently on matters and assume responsibility for the timely and thorough completion of such work, (b) demonstrated effective and comprehensive communication skills, and (c) demonstrated the ability to perform well in a team setting. Examples Include: rendering legal advice and services under Title IV of the ERISA of 1974, as amended, with respect to questions, regulations, practices; research, reviewing legal analyses, negotiations and pre-trial pleadings, including complaints, answers, motions, memoranda, and briefs preparing interpretive administrative orders; drafting legal policies, negotiating, or examining legal documents, provisions of the Internal Revenue Code relating to pension plans, proposed legislation or regulation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
