Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Summary:
Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and functional independence. Deliver high-quality, compassionate care during 12-hour night shifts within a busy rehab unit.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' clinical needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, including IVs, PICCs, and PEG tubes, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Perform procedures such as bladder scans, trach care, Foley catheter management, and blood administration.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with therapy and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid VA RN license and current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and acute patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating requirements across medical-surgical units.
