" Highway Technician 1 with CDL, with tanker endorsement and no air brake restrictions- Winter Seasonal 2026-2027 - Cuyahoga County What You Will Do Snow and Ice Duties on the roadway 8-12 hours, fleet readiness inspections (pre/post) and washing of the Snow and Ice Equipment, greasing equipment used for snow and ice, blade changing General facilities maintenance Pothole patching and roadway remediation crew duties Assist with sign installation along 2, 4 and multi-lane routes Articulated loader operation to load single and tandem axle dump trucks for snow and ice operations Assist with the maintenance of traffic for roadway emergencies Highway beautification and litter removal when needed Who We Are Looking For Safety Driven Enjoys working outdoors Honest, accountable, trustworthy, and respectful A positive team player Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment.
