Die Setter

Die SetterType: Contract-to-Hire Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PMAs a Die Setter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting and removing molds, dies, and lead changeover activities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up efficient, safe, and timely mold changes.Ensure molds are set safely and according to current industry standards.Perform timely mold changes according to the production schedule.Communicate and coordinate manufacturing requirements with other shifts.Communicate with the Shift Supervisor regarding pending mold and color changes.Receive the scheduled job lineup and prepare molds, workstations, and auxiliary equipment.Perform continuous housekeeping during mold setting and removal.Ensure molds, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment as needed.Follow proper safety procedures during all mold changes.Maintain a safe work environment for all employees working around the mold set.Perform other duties as assigned.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and climb stairs.Ability to use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials.Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment.Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Linked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
