Our organization is on the lookout for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to become part of our dedicated team. This role offers a unique chance to engage in truly collaborative patient care. We welcome applications from both emerging and experienced clinicians or clinician scientists, and all candidates will be encouraged to cultivate a subspecialty interest.
Position Overview
- Contribute to the expansion of the department's established multidisciplinary care pathways by strengthening relationships with primary and specialty care providers, both within and outside the organization.
- The primary focus will be on patient care, education, and research.
- Responsibilities will include both didactic and clinical training for residents and fellows.
- Our team includes a dedicated molecular biologist, vision scientist, and electrophysiologist, along with a research coordinator and two specialized ophthalmo-genetic counselors.
- This role will be situated at a prominent children's hospital with additional clinics at nearby satellite locations and surgical centers.
- The department is well-equipped, featuring collagen cross-linking capabilities, a myopia treatment center, and the latest imaging technologies, including integrated intraoperative OCT, eye movement tracking, and a comprehensive visual electrophysiology lab.
