Position Overview  

LayerZero Power Systems is seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This fully remote position is open to candidates located within the United States, with preference given to those based in or near Aurora, OH. 

In this role, you will generate and qualify sales opportunities, manage customer relationships, support the sales process from prospecting to close, and contribute directly to revenue growth. You will work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and program management teams while developing expertise in the rapidly growing data center and critical infrastructure markets. 

This is a base salary plus incentive plan. The incentive plan operates on a quarterly basis, with performance measured and incentives paid following the close of each quarter.

Key Responsibilities  

• Generate and qualify leads through inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting, referrals, email campaigns, and account development activities 
• Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from qualification through close 
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships together with Outside Sales team 
• Conduct virtual meetings, discovery calls, and product presentations 
• Learn and effectively communicate LayerZero's power distribution solutions, including STS, PDU, and RPP products 
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and sales documentation 
• Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information in HubSpot CRM 
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Program Management teams to support customer success 
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets 

  Qualifications Required  

• 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing sales 
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce 
• Understanding of B2B sales processes and pipeline management 
• Experience conducting virtual product demonstrations and presentations 
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills 
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools 
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals 

Preferred  

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (or a sales certification) 
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn and explain hardware and tech products 

Bonus Experience  

• Data center infrastructure or critical power systems 
• Technology hardware or industrial B2B sales 
• Colocation or hyperscale data center environments 
• Experience selling to data center, technology, or industrial customers
