Patient Account Registrar

Overview We are seeking a Patient Account Registrar, sometimes referred to as aHospitalAdmission Representative. The Patient Account Registrar collects and verifies patient demographic and insurance information while ensuring eligibility, benefits, and authorizations are accurately obtained. The Patient Account Registrar collaborates closely with the Admitting team and communicates effectively with patients across all age groups. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative preferred. 2. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. 3. Effective written and verbal communication skills 4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines 5. Analytical and problem-solving skills 6.
