Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in The Dalles, OR as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients‘ bones, organs, and tissues used to diagnose medical conditions. Duties include performing CT procedures, administering contrast materials per physician orders, and assisting with general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate‘s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) required.
• Advanced certification in CT required in OR. Preferred elsewhere.
• Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) certification required.
• Experience operating CT equipment and performing cross-sectional imaging procedures. Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience preferred.
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in OR.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in OR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience performing general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Nights, 3x12.
• Weekly hours: 36.
