Plant Maintenance Utility Technician

We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Utility Technician to support a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring plant utility systems including boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, and water treatment systems.

This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with strong industrial maintenance, mechanical, or plant utility experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on plant utility equipment
• Monitor and maintain boilers, compressed air systems, cooling towers, and water systems
• Conduct routine inspections and document equipment performance
• Support mechanical maintenance projects and assist electricians as needed
• Perform minor plumbing and basic welding tasks
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
• Experience working with boilers, pumps, compressors, water systems, or plant utilities
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial conditions

Preferred Experience

• Boiler operator experience
• Cooling tower or water treatment system maintenance
• Basic welding or fabrication skills
• Experience in heavy manufacturing environments
