Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Chesapeake (Carmichael), VA 23322 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Chesapeake (Carmichael), VA. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly. Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Previous clinical experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Work Environment This position is based in Chesapeake (Carmichael), VA, providing care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
