This operation runs multiple alloys, grades, and processes daily—constant problem-solving, real ownership, and zero autopilot. You’ll be hands-on across melting, processing, quality investigations, and new product launches. One day you’re troubleshooting a quality issue, the next you’re helping bring a new alloy to life. Big-time relocation package Visible impact on product, quality, and operations Ideal for someone who: Has 3+ years in steelmaking or metals processing Enjoys variety, complexity, and being “the go-to” technical voice Wants to grow technically without being boxed into one lane What you'll do: Provide technical support across all phases of operations including refractories, melting, teeming, thermal handling, and ingot cutting Lead product development efforts and support new product launches Ensure departments follow established procedures and sound metallurgical practices Drive projects focused on productivity improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement Lead investigations into operational and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Own the accuracy, reliability, and maintenance of analytical and chemical testing equipment Perform chemical analysis of final steel samples and heat certifications Support customers with technical product issues Make disposition decisions on material and product Evaluate and implement new technologies, processes, and best practices Location: Not for city folk...
