In this role, you will coordinate engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and program management activities while managing technical risks, engineering changes, schedules, budgets, and program commitments throughout the product lifecycle. The position provides part-level ownership within a Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) and requires strong cross-functional leadership and technical problem-solving skills.What You Will Do:Accountable to CIPT for part-level ownership, including communication, risk management, and execution to program requirements.Collaborate closely with the Integrated Product Team on hardware field investigations to determine root cause, support safety risk assessments, and development of mitigation plans.Lead engineering change execution, risk assessments, and mitigation planning to reduce cost, schedule, and technical exposure across the project lifecycle.Participate in Customer, System Integrated Product Team (SIPT), Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) and Senior Management interaction and presentations.Monitor and support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) budget, schedule, technical performance, and business metrics to achieve program commitments.Travel Requirement: Up to 10%, Domestic and International.What You Will Learn:Experience leading part-level execution within a Component Integrated Product Team.Build cross-functional leadership skills through collaboration with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and program management teamsExpand technical and project leadership capabilities within a global aerospace organization.Gain exposure to executive-level program reviews and strategic business decision-making.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience in engineering, aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or a related technical industry.Qualifications We Prefer:Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and/or Aerospace or Turbofan Engine industry experience.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, influence, and coordinate across teams in strategic projects and initiatives.Customer-focused with the ability to find solutions to complex problems (vendor- and customer-facing) and meet program demands.Experience in Jira, Microsoft Office, Teamcenter, SAP, Microsoft Project, or other project management software.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, CORE, ACE, or Six Sigma, and/or project management tools and systems such as Microsoft Office, Solumina, SAP, Teamcenter, or Agile frameworks; PMP certification preferred.What We Offer: Eligible for Relocation.Learn More & Apply Now!Department / Segment OverviewMechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN): The MSEN organization is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. Technical disciplines include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, System Modeling, Mechanical Design analysis for bearings, gears, and seals, and fluid-thermal modeling of associated components and systems.Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.
