Construction Supervisor

About This Role At TelCom Construction, as a Traveling Telecommunications Supervisor, you’ll supervise and implement the company construction program ensuring that each job site follows the construction rules, practices and policies. Ensure the completion of assigned projects. Provide communication and leadership to foremen and crew members. Organize materials, equipment, and labor. Verify locates, materials, and billings. Provide all required job reporting. Complete as-builts and redlines. Participate and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required. Experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred. Good computer skills, specifically in database software and Excel. Prior experience with Google applications is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Out-of-town travel is required as well as on-call availability. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Class A CDL license is a plus. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Authorization to work in the United States. High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience. Valid state driver's license (non‑provisional) with acceptable driving record. Valid Class A Commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it. Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card. At least 3 years of related work experience. Previous construction experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry. Physical Demands Routinely work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and remote locations, climb stairs, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 55 pounds; operate vehicle & heavy machinery. Occasionally use keyboard and mouse. Salary The wage range for Traveling Underground Supervisor Telecom is $75,000.00 - $95,000.00.
