Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

On-SEM-Site Supplier Quality Engineer providing a collaborative environment for SEM including:

Collaborate with production supervisors and workers for real-time inspection and verification points during processing.
Drive closure with AIS stakeholders when questions arise during assembly
Verify worker compliance with manufacturing procedures
Monitor reaction plans when product is found non-compliant (rework plan, MRB, etc.)
Lead quality product training with operators
Evaluate process for optimization, i.e. mistake proofing, variation tracking, task efficiencies
Engage with SEM Process and SEM Quality Engineers with CAPA reports
Oversee SEM RMA process for customer returns
Maintain RMA Tracking Log
Monitor RMA TAT metric

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, quality training acceptable
Minimum of 6 years hands-on with product quality control within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Quality Management System (Ex. ISO-9001, etc.)
Effective root cause analysis skills
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to details
IPC-A-610 CIS
