Hiring Personal Care Aid (PCA) – Butterfly Home Care

Location: Sterling, Virginia

Are you compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others? Butterfly Home Care – Virginia is looking for dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our growing team!

In this role, you’ll provide essential, hands-on support to individuals who need assistance with daily living—helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

What You’ll Do

Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Help with meal preparation and feeding when needed
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
Follow individualized care plans and safety guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with elderly or individuals with disabilities
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in home care, hospital, or long-term care settings
Valid PCA certification
CPR certification
Bilingual skills are a plus
